Registration Opens for Phuket’s Bang Niew Dam Charity Run

Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization (PPAO) has opened registration for the second event in its "3 Districts, 3 Lakes" community running series. As with the previous race, participation is free and includes an event T-shirt and refreshments, although the number of available places is limited.

The first run took place on May 30 around Bang Wad Reservoir in Kathu. Despite rainy weather, hundreds of participants of all ages and fitness levels completed the six-kilometre route.

The second event is scheduled for June 27 at Bang Niew Dam in Sri Sunthon. Participants will once again cover a six-kilometre course around the reservoir.

In-person registration is available at Robinson Lifestyle Thalang on June 16 and 17, with 1,000 places available each day. Registration opens at 12:00 p.m.

Online registration will be held on June 19, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A total of 1,000 additional slots will be available. Organizers noted that although the QR code has already been published on promotional materials, the registration link is not yet active.

The final event in the "3 Districts, 3 Lakes" series is scheduled for July 25 at Khlong Kratha Reservoir in Chalong.
