Phuket Authorities Coordinate Preparations for EDC Thailand 2026

Phuket Governor Chotinrin Koedsom chaired a high-level meeting on November 5 to coordinate preparations for Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand 2026 (EDC Thailand 2026). Representatives of government agencies, private-sector organisations and other stakeholders took part in discussions on transport, medical services and security for the large-scale music festival.

Participants reviewed the progress of preparations and discussed operational arrangements for the event. Key topics included festival logistics, traffic and transport management, designated operational zones, medical response capabilities, security measures and emergency procedures.

Officials emphasised the importance of close cooperation between the agencies involved to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely for both Thai and international visitors.

Particular attention was given to managing travel to and from the festival venue, ensuring access to medical assistance, maintaining public order and establishing clear response procedures in the event of an emergency.

EDC Thailand 2026 is scheduled to take place from December 18 to 20 at Rhythm Park in Cherng Thalay, Thalang district.

The festival will mark the third time the internationally recognised electronic music event has been held in Thailand. Provincial authorities are coordinating preparations across relevant sectors to support the event and provide a safe and well-organised experience for attendees.
