Phuket Announces July Blood Donation Campaign with Mobile Collection Drives

Residents of Phuket are being encouraged to donate blood throughout July as the Phuket Regional Blood Center (Phuket RBC) and the Blood Bank of Vachira Phuket Hospital continue efforts to maintain adequate blood supplies for hospitals across the province.



In addition to regular donation opportunities at their permanent facilities, both organizations have scheduled numerous mobile blood collection events at shopping malls, hotels, businesses, government offices, and other locations around the island.


One of the month's featured events will take place on July 4, when Vachira Phuket Hospital hosts a special blood donation campaign during the Phuket Health Expo at Central Phuket Floresta.



Another major campaign is scheduled for July 28 to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty King Rama X. On that day, Phuket RBC will welcome donors at its headquarters, while Vachira Hospital will organize a parallel donation event at Limelight Phuket in Phuket Town as part of a nationwide blood donation initiative.

  • Monday & Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Weekends & public holidays: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.


Vachira Phuket Hospital Blood Bank opening hours:

  • Weekdays: 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Weekends & public holidays: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
