Man Injured as Fire Breaks Out Near Phuket Temple

A fire broke out on the afternoon of March 27 at a two-storey residential building near Kohsit Vihara Temple in Phuket, prompting a rapid emergency response.

Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene after flames engulfed part of the structure. One man was injured in the incident, suffering burns, including blisters and visible wounds. He received immediate assistance from responders and was transported for further medical treatment.

Firefighters from Phuket City, along with teams from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (Region 18) and local police, worked together to control the situation.

Their efforts focused on extinguishing the blaze as quickly as possible while ensuring the safety of nearby residents and passersby.
Authorities are continuing to assess the extent of the damage to the property. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
