A fatal road accident in Koh Kaew during the early hours of the morning resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and the complete destruction of a car by fire.

According to Phuket City Police, officers were called to the scene at around 3:00 a.m. following reports of a serious crash near the Muslim Koh Kaew School in Koh Kaew subdistrict. Upon arrival, they discovered a damaged motorcycle on the road and the body of its rider nearby, who had suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a car.
Investigators reported that the car lost control after the collision, mounted the median, and crashed into a utility pole. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire, and the flames quickly spread, engulfing it بالكامل. Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the blaze, but the car was entirely destroyed.
Preliminary findings indicate that the motorcyclist may have fallen onto the road before being hit by the oncoming vehicle. The force of the crash resulted in fatal injuries at the scene, while the driver remained at the site amid the burned wreckage.
Authorities are continuing their investigation, collecting evidence and speaking with witnesses to clarify the sequence of events. Police confirmed that a full inquiry is underway to determine responsibility and take legal action where necessary.
