Phuket Beach Life Festival Kicks Off in Patong
With weather conditions on Phuket gradually improving, Patong Beach is preparing to host the three-day Phuket Beach Life 2026 festival from October 30 to November 1. The event will feature live music, sporting competitions, creative workshops, water sports and a range of beachside activities. Admission is free.

Phuket Beach Life is part of the Amazing Multi-Racing Festival 2026, a Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) initiative taking place in three coastal destinations. Songkhla hosted the first event from October 23 to 25, Phuket is next, and the series is scheduled to continue in Hua Hin in December.
The festival will be based at Loma Park in Patong, where visitors can explore two music stages, market stalls, activity areas and water sports zones.

The main stage will feature six Thai artists and bands representing a variety of musical styles.

Beach market, food and creative workshops
A substantial part of the festival grounds will be dedicated to shopping and food. The beach market will offer clothing, accessories, leisure products and other goods from local businesses.
Food stalls will serve Thai dishes, including specialities from Phuket and southern Thailand.
The entertainment programme will also include traditional performances from southern Thai cultural groups, fire shows after dark and designated photo spots.
Visitors interested in hands-on activities can take part in short creative workshops, including face and body painting, braid styling and bead jewellery making.
Those looking for a more relaxing experience will be able to enjoy neck and shoulder massages or try ice baths. Some treatments will be offered free of charge to the first 100 participants.
SUP sessions and water sports
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) will be a major focus of the festival's sporting programme.
Beginner SUP clinics are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 31 and November 1. Morning sessions will run from 9am to 10am, with afternoon sessions from 1pm to 2pm.
Visitors will also be able to try different water sports, including SUP, kayaking and Surfski, during sessions scheduled from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 3pm.
Demonstrations of Jet Surf, e-Foil and other modern watercraft are also planned.
One of the main sporting attractions will be SUPROX, a team competition for pairs combining running, individual SUP paddling, carrying a kayak and paddling together on a single board.
Beach clean-up and weather updates
The festival will also include an environmental activity under the Amazing Thailand Beach Clean Up programme. Participants are invited to join the beach clean-up from 5:15pm to 6pm.
Organisers have cautioned that the schedule for water-based activities may change depending on weather conditions and the state of the sea.
