Patong is preparing to host an additional beach festival as Phuket enters the high tourism season. The Phuket Beach Life 2026 event will take place at Loma Park from October 30 to November 1, offering concerts, market stalls, water sports and entertainment.

The event was announced by Patong Municipality on October 19. Unlike the traditional carnival held later in the year to celebrate the tourism season, the new festival will not feature a parade. Instead, its programme will focus on beach activities, live music, cultural performances and community events.

The timing coincides with the transition to winter flight schedules among international airlines, a period that signals the start of the busier travel season for Phuket.

Sports, music and beach markets

The festival is being promoted under the concept “Amazing Multi-Racing Festival 2026”, although the only racing activity announced so far is stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Organisers have included SUP competitions, concerts, cultural activities and other entertainment in the programme.

Patong Municipality has invited residents and visitors to enjoy a beachside event combining sport, music, culture and creative activities in one location.

As with other local festivals, the programme is expected to feature guest performers, local bands and DJs. The popular Thai band Getsunova is among the announced acts.

Visitors will also be able to browse market stalls selling beachwear and accessories and visit a food zone. Creative workshops and cultural performances are planned as additional attractions, although further details have not yet been released.

Patong prepares for a busy season

The festival announcement came while Patong was still removing decorations installed for the Vegetarian Festival. A new Halloween-themed display is also expected to appear along the beach road before Phuket Beach Life 2026 begins.

Halloween has become a prominent event in Patong, with celebrations attracting considerable attention alongside the area’s established local festivals.

The new beach festival adds another event to Phuket’s calendar as businesses and tourism operators prepare for the high season.
