Two men and a woman were hospitalized following a serious road accident on the morning of March 23 on Srisoonthorn Road, the main highway connecting Bang Tao Beach with central Phuket.

According to a police report, the crash occurred near the construction site of The Title Villa Kirara project and the Nature’s Rest showroom. Officers from Thalang Police Station received the emergency call at approximately 9 a.m.
A witness identified as Pitpichi Pipatadit told police she was driving a red Mazda sedan toward the Heroines Monument when two motorcycles suddenly collided directly in front of her vehicle.

One of the bikes, a Honda PCX with Phuket registration plates, was thrown into the path of the moving car together with its rider. The driver of the Mazda reportedly had no time to brake and ran over the motorcyclist.
The second motorcycle, described as a Honda bike with Trang province registration plates, was carrying a man and a woman. Both riders fell outside the path of the car and were not struck by other vehicles.
Police stated that all three injured people were transported to local hospitals. Two victims were taken to Thalang Hospital, while another was sent to Vachira Phuket Hospital.
The identities and nationalities of the injured individuals were not disclosed in the report.

As of 5 p.m. on March 23, the Thai Road Safety Center (ThaiRSC) had not recorded any new road fatalities connected to the incident. However, Srisoonthorn subdistrict, where the crash occurred, remains one of the areas with the highest number of road deaths in Phuket.
