Phuket United FC will play its second home match tonight, May 10, as the club welcomes Phatthalung FC to Surakul Stadium in Phuket Town. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Although the club does not officially hold the status of a youth team, Phuket United FC has quickly earned a reputation as a promising squad built around young local talent. Most players in the lineup are under the age of 21, but the team has already shown impressive performances during the opening rounds of the 2026 Thailand Semi-Pro League.

The new Phuket side remains in the early stages of development. The team lost both of its away matches in the first and third rounds of the competition. However, Phuket United FC came very close to securing a victory during its first home game in late April before conceding a dramatic equalizer in the 96th minute, forcing the match to end in a draw.

Tonight’s fixture presents an even tougher challenge, as visiting Phatthalung FC currently sits at the top of the Southern Division standings.

Phatthalung opened the season with a draw against Narathiwat before narrowly defeating Yala Province. In the latest round, the club delivered an emphatic 4-1 victory over Phang Nga United, coached by British manager Russ Horsley.

Despite the difficult opposition, Phuket fans will be hoping to see the island’s young squad claim its first victory of the season.

Matchday activities at Surakul Stadium will begin well before kickoff. Organizers said the fan zone will open at 3:30 p.m. with entertainment and activities for supporters of all ages.

Children will be able to participate in games and contests, while additional prizes and activities are planned throughout the afternoon.

Admission to the stadium is free.
