The three-day X Planet Fruit Road 2026 festival attracted large crowds to Sri Sunthorn in Thalang district from June 12 to 14, continuing the success of last year’s popular countryside event.

Held near the rubber plantations at the foothills of Khao Phra Thaeo, the festival once again showcased local culture, food, and community traditions. Visitors enjoyed a wide selection of food stalls, traditional fairground games, friendly competitions, and nightly live music performances throughout the event.
One of the festival’s most popular attractions was a group of buffaloes that became a favorite photo spot for visitors. Families and tourists gathered throughout the weekend to take pictures and experience the rural atmosphere.

The opening ceremony was attended by several prominent officials, including Sri Sunthorn Mayor Chalermphon Kerdsup, Phuket Vice Governor Suwit Phansengiam, Thalang Member of Parliament Orathai Kerdsap, Patong Mayor Lalita Maneesri, and other local representatives.

Organizers described the event as a celebration of local agricultural heritage and community spirit, helping promote tourism while supporting businesses and residents in the area. Following another successful edition, the festival has further strengthened its position as one of Thalang’s notable annual community events.
