A vibrant three-day kite festival has kicked off on Karon Beach in Phuket, bringing color, entertainment, and family-friendly activities to the island. The Phuket Kite Festival opened on April 3 and will run through April 5 at Nong Harn Park, located near the lake in the northern part of the beach.

At the same time, the Kata Karon Season Sound fair has begun in the same area, offering visitors a lively mix of shopping, food, and entertainment.
The event program features a wide variety of kite displays, including massive flying installations and traditional designs from different regions. Visitors can watch impressive kite launches and explore exhibitions showcasing unique styles and craftsmanship.

Families and younger guests can take part in interactive sessions, where they can learn how to build and fly kites. Creative workshops are also available, including kite painting and making keychains from recycled materials. A dedicated Craft Coffee zone and stalls selling locally made products add to the festival atmosphere.
Live entertainment is another highlight of the event. Popular Thai artists and bands such as Musketeers, OG-ANIC, LAZYLOXY, and ETC are scheduled to perform, creating a festive vibe each evening.

The festival runs daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Food trucks and market stalls operate throughout the day, while live music performances take place in the evening.
