Mia Wins Two Races at Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand Event in Saphan Hin

Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand has released the official results of the second round of the 2026 season, held in Phuket on August 29–30. For two days, Saphan Hin Park was transformed into a temporary street circuit, hosting a series of races featuring Toyota vehicles. One of the biggest stars of the recent seasons, Mia, once again proved that her skills extend well beyond posing for the cameras.

The Phuket round was the second event of the season following the opening round in Pattaya. This year's championship is being held as part of celebrations marking 40 years of Toyota's motorsport programme in Thailand.

The races follow the One Make Race format, meaning drivers within each division compete in cars of the same model with broadly identical original specifications. The format reduces the influence of differences in teams' technical budgets, making the driver's performance and teamwork more decisive factors in the final result.

The top three finishers in each division at the Phuket round were:

Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport One Make Race

• Nattanan Puretongkam, No. 16, N-Sports

• Srithana Mitaree, No. 66, Lenso Motorsport Sinthorn by Vanguard Garage

• Kentaro Chiba, No. 3

The Corolla Altis GR Sport remains the most powerful passenger-car division in the main Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand programme. The cars are built on the TNGA platform and powered by 1.8-litre petrol engines.

The Hilux Revo pickups are a familiar sight on Thailand's roads, adding a distinctly local character to the championship. Seeing these diesel-powered trucks competing on a temporary circuit beside the sea has become one of the defining features of the Phuket round.

The women's division is contested in Yaris ATIV sedans equipped with 1.2-litre petrol engines. However, the existence of a separate women's category does not limit female drivers to this class. Women regularly compete and achieve strong results in other divisions, including pickup races.

Mia, who won the women's races in Phuket, also took victory in a demonstration event featuring Toyota Yaris ATIV HEV GR Sport cars as part of the Challenge Cup.

The Yaris One Make Race is one of the series' entry-level divisions and serves as a starting point in motorsport for many young drivers.

Beyond the races themselves, the Phuket weekend featured a car show, Gazoo Racing demonstration runs, the Toyota 4x4 Adventure Track off-road experience, driver meet-and-greet sessions and live entertainment.
