The Bloom of the Season festival in Karon enters its final day today, offering visitors one more opportunity to enjoy surfing competitions, live entertainment and a beachfront fair. Admission to the event remains free.

The annual surfing celebration at Kata Beach, which has previously been known as Fin Fest and Phuket Surftival, has returned this year under the new name Bloom of the Season. The event combines water sports, cultural activities and live performances, attracting both local residents and tourists.

Festival activities have been taking place throughout the day, with visitors able to explore food stalls, music performances, handicrafts, souvenirs and a variety of creative workshops and family-friendly attractions.

The evening entertainment program is scheduled to begin at 4pm and continue until 9pm, while surfers continue to compete according to their own timetable on the waves off Kata Beach.

The main festival area is located in the park next to the Karon Municipality building at the southern end of Kata Beach, which serves as the center of the event’s activities.

Those unable to attend can still get a glimpse of the atmosphere through hundreds of photographs released by Karon Municipality, showcasing the competitions, performances and seaside celebrations taking place throughout the festival.
